About ARify

Digitally renovating Canada's public art & media.

We don't replace what's already there — we upgrade it. ARify layers no-app augmented reality over murals, public art, billboards, print and packaging, so a static surface keeps earning attention for years.

Why we exist

A mural shouldn't peak on day one.

Communities invest real money in public art — then it gets one unveiling and fades into the streetscape, its story locked inside it and its impact impossible to measure. We started ARify to fix that: keep the original art, add a living digital layer anyone can unlock with a phone, and finally give the people who funded it real numbers to point to.

Our vision is bigger than one wall. The same thing happens wherever something gets printed or painted and then left to be walked past — a billboard nobody remembers, a pack that stops talking after the first glance. Every one of those surfaces is already bought and paid for, and every one of them could be doing more. When it works, everyone wins: the visitor gets a moment worth remembering, and whoever owns the surface gets a relationship worth having.

What "digital renovation" means

Keep the art. Add the magic.

No app

Zero friction

Every experience runs in the phone's browser — scan and go. The one step that loses everyone is the one we removed.

One team

Art + engineering

Creative direction and AR engineering under one roof — so it feels like magic, not a tech demo. Nothing lost in a handoff.

Measured

Proof, not vibes

Scans, dwell time, tap-throughs — reported back, so a static surface becomes something you can defend to a council, a funder or a media plan.

Who we are

A Canadian studio, built around the work.

ARify is a small, senior team spread across Alberta, Ontario & Québec — you work directly with the people building your experience, not an account manager or an overseas vendor.

The founders

The people you'll actually work with.

No hand-offs, no middlemen — you talk to the people designing and building your activation.

Founder · Technology & direction

Chey founded ARify and leads the build — the AR engineering, the tracking, and the creative direction that decides what actually happens on a wall. Lead game designer by trade, which is where the instinct for making a surface worth stopping at comes from.

Co-founder · Marketing & creative

Edil leads marketing and creative — how an activation is positioned, how it reaches the people who should see it, and how the launch lands once the wall goes live. The half of the work that decides whether anyone shows up to scan.
